  • served as an Unteroffizier in the 5th Company of Panzerregiment 1 at least since 1937,

  • served as a Feldwebel in the 5th Company during the Polish and French Campaigns,

  • transferred on 25.06.1940 to the 3rd Company of Panzerabteilung A which became the 3rd Company of Panzerregiment 18 shortly thereafter,

  • was promoted to Leutnant in 1940/41,

  • transferred in April 1941 to Panzerersatzabteilung 18,

  • further fate unknown
