Born: 30.01.1902 in Hohendorf
Died: 29.01.2003 in Erfurt
joined the Reichswehr as a volunteer on 01.10.1922,
pursued the career of an Unteroffizier,
became Hauptfeldwebel in 4. Kraftfahr-Abteilung in Dresden at the beginning of the 1930s,
transferred along with his company to Kraftfahrlehrkommando II Ohrdruf in the summer of 1934,
after the unveiling of the new Panzer units in October 1935, he was assigned along with the 8th Lehrtrupp to Panzerregiment 1 and remained Hauptfeldwebel of the 8th Company (from 1943 renamed in 1st Company) until the end of WWII,
returned to Erfurt and worked after 1945 for the Erfurt public transport company.
